How to Prepare for the Sale
 

Kid’s Wear Plus saves you time and money by accepting only high quality items.

All items will be checked at receiving to assure a quality sale.

HOW TO PREPARE ITEMS FOR SALE: CLOTHING
(No prelimary sign-up required)

Must contribute at least ten items to participate in the preview sale.
Only current styles in great condition will be accepted.
Sizes 0 – Juniors
Fall and Winter Clothing and transitional items such as collared polo shirts, dress shirts and long shorts
Not accepting maternity clothes, bath-seats, potty seats or diaper genies
Not accepting underwear, socks, tights, belts, hats or other small items

TAGGING AND PRICING ITEMS-

Tag your items on ½ of a 3X5 index card (see example)
Do not use small, medium or large for size.
All items (not just clothing) must be at least $3.00 in .50 cent increments.
Safety pin tags on left side of garment (over your heart) – no small pins (ex: small gold pins)
Place masking tape with Code Number inside garment.
METAL HANGERS ONLY!!! Hook must be facing left (see example)
Pin waistband of pants to the top of the hanger using two pins.
Use RED ink if you DO NOT want your items marked down on discount days.
SORT ITEMS BY SEX AND SIZE (THIS MUST BE DONE BEFORE ITEMS ARE RECEIVED!)


ITEMS OTHER THAN CLOTHING -

NEW: Maximum of 7 pair of LIKE-NEW shoes will be accepted. Package shoes in 1-gallon Ziploc bags and tape pricing tag to outside.
Bring only quality, clean toys with all pieces and batteries if required.
No stuffed animals
Baby furniture, strollers, swings, etc. must be clean and in good working condition.
NO CAR SEATS OVER FIVE YEARS OLD!
Use clear packing tape across the entire tag on toys and equipment.

CODE NUMBER –

Last four digits of phone number and first letter of last name. (See example)
If your phone number changes keep your original code number.

PAYCHECKS AND ITEMS NOT SOLD –

Pick up checks and unsold items on Thursday, September 4th from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m.
Items not picked up will be donated to charity the next day and checks will be mailed.
A participation fee of $5.00 will be deducted from each check.
